Horses = Fun and Learning!
We offer Leadership Awareness with Horses Camps to underprivileged, low income and youth at risk. Children who do not fall into these categories are able to participate as assistants in these programs as part of our volunteer program, or in the public classes listed below.
BRHC Membership Program
We encourage all volunteers and supporters of Blue River Horse Center to become annual members of BRHC.
- Learn how to train a horse from initial handling through to riding.
- Work with the same horse all season, or work with multiple horses; your choice!
- No minimum or maximum of hours that you can volunteer
- Membership covers all your classes for the season (typically May thru October), including New Volunteer Training
- A free trail ride or riding lesson
- A free mini class for any child associated with your membership, e.g. grandchild.
Annual cost is $200 for individuals, $250 for families for the season. Monthly payments and scholarships are available.
